Problem with Windows7 + netbeans

Hi all,
I have installed the Chinese language pack in my system. I am getting the Chinese fonts in the notepad. But i am not getting the chinese text in the Netbeans7.0.1 IDE. The operating system in my PC is Windows7. I need to enable chinese text in netbeans. But netbeans7.0.1 + Windows XP is working fine. Is this a problem with my OS or the IDE?. Please let me know the solution as soon as possible.

I suspect not many have tried this combination so cannot comment.

All I can say is to try Eclipse instead of Netbeans. Does the same thing and may be compatible.

Thanks a lot for you reply. But I am able to get Chinese text with Netbeans7.0.1 + Windows XP combination. Are you sure that the problem is not with the OS?

Did you download the Chinese version of netbeans? If the language pack for windows is working everywhere else, then yes it is a problem with the software (netbeans).

Sorry for the confusion. My IDE language is English. But I want Chinese text in my Properties File. I dont want chinese text in my IDE. I want to enable Chinese and Taiwanese text for the particular files(properties files) only. Thanks for your reply. Please help me to overcome this as soon as possibe.

...You do not need a language pack for that. Just use a character set like Unicode (UTF-8/16) that supports Chinese characters for the file.

I have enabled that also. Is that a problem with my OS? The same settings is working fine with Windows XP + Netbeans7.0.1.
