Hi, I have Windows 7 RTM and am very happy with it.

Now I have installed Windows Movie Maker 14 incl. Photo Gallery.
At first it was working fine, but after a while it froze and I had to use the Task Manager to close it.

Have uninstalled both several times and reinstalled, but it froze straight away again.

I really like this version of WMM, but what might be the problem for it to freeze constantly ?

Any pointer to some direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

PS: last thing I could do would be to reinstall Windows 7 and WMM 14.
But what would I do if the same problem occured ?
I ask because I tried to install WMM 14 on another Computer with Windows 7 and exactly the same thing happened.

Hmmm ....

Hi, I have found out that I can use WMM 14 when I do not resize the window.

The window upon start up is rather small, but it allows me to work an projects.
As soon as I resize the window just a little bit - it freezes (no respond).

Also, when I change the aspect ration from 3:4 to 16:9, it freezes too.

Having used google, I don't seem to find any other people having problems with that.

Strange ?

Hi, I found a Remedy which looks like it's working.

1. Updated graphics driver from 26.02.09 to 27.09.09 (GF 9300)

2. Disabled Aero (!)
