Greetings,

I installed svn-client under my Win7 and started to download files.

However, the repository server is working under linux, and Win 7 choked on filename like "6-311G*.svn-base " claiming "file name not valid". The repository file name contains star, "6-311G*".

Any help please ? Thanks, Miro

Hello miroi, welcome to Seven Forums!

I haven't worked much with Linux, is it possible to re-name the files to get then downloaded and then name them back to what they need to be after?

Hi,

yes, that is the simplest way. And in porting code from Linux to Windows 7 this is the smallest problem.

Best, M.
