Problems after re-installing internet explorer 9

I removed IE9 last week, but because of problems (lost screen gadgets ) I decided to re-install it. It appears to have loaded but there are no icon or mention of it in the "all programs" menu.If I type explorer in the search box I get (internet explorer no add-ons).
Is something missing from the program?.

Hello Northerner,

Double check to see if you have the C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe file.

If so, then you could create a new Internet Explorer shortcut in Start Menu -> All Programs to this file to have one. You could also right click on the iexplore.exe file to "Pin to Taskbar".
