Hi, Im new to this forum. I am having two problems with my Windows 7 Pro 64bit OS. The first is that my explorer keeps on crashing and restarting, this can happen 4 time in a row one after another or spread out during use, when it crashes it just restarts without any reports .

My next problem is that I have a software package called ZD Soft Video Recorder 2.1, it used to work perfectly on XP Home but whenever I start it in Windows 7 it brings up a message that says "Failed to initalize the screen capture driver!" It also tell me to reinstall and restart my computer but still does not work, I have updated my onboard graphics driver and am running the latest version. Can any one please help me with these silly problems? Thank you for your time.

Hello BashirSabeel,
Make sure you have installed all the latest drivers from your PC/Laptop's manufacturer's official website; after you have installed all the latest drivers restart your machine, and regarding the problem with ZD Soft Video Recorder - Windows 7 is a new OS so many software packages/programmes will "strugle" to work; for example I have tried to install TuneUp Utilities 2009 on my Win7 Ultimate x64 and it says that it is not compatible (it used to work absolutely fine on my WinXP Pro SP3 and Vista Home Premium x32), so be patient untill the programme/software get released for Win7.

Yes I did the same with Tuneup 2009 but I got email from tech support and there will be new version of TuneUp for Win 7. Windows 7 is much newer OS as any softwares way back over 6-12 month or more then it will be struggle to work with until the update to fix the problem so hope it come up soon as the software team still busy to set up included MS team already started to build up SP1 for Windows 7

Ok, Thank you for your help. :)

You need to re-install ZD soft video in compatibilty mode. to do that you
right click the setup file>properties>compatibilty tab

Hope this helps
