Problems installing IDT Audio

A few months ago I installed Windows 7 Ultimate (x86) on this computer and I got all drivers to work except for IDT Audio. Assuming IDT would provide some installation patches later, I just kept putting off. Now, several months later, nothing has come up and I'm still stuck without it. Everytime I try to start the setup file, it would start Install Wizard, but it would then give me an error saying "ExitError:Error=Device Object not present, restart the system and run setup again"

My computer's specs:
Motherboard: GF7050-M by ECS
RAM: 4.00 GB

I'm not really sure what else might be needed, so just leave a post asking for more information.

Do you have a Vista driver? The Vista drivers should work OK on Win 7. Have you tried downloading the driver again? Maybe the driver you have is corrupted. Also, if there are motherboard chipset drivers, did you install them? On many systems the chipset drivers must be installed before installing sound drivers.

The drivers won't even install. I've installed all of the motherboard's drivers. Only the IDT Audio won't install. Just to make sure, I tried re-installing the motherboard's chipset drivers, but the install wizard ended up freezing my entire system, leaving me at 100% CPU usage. I'm not exactly sure what I can do anymore.
