Hello all,
I'm new here so I hope I'm posting this in the right place, sorry if I've got it wrong.

My neighbour took his computer back to factory settings.

I have manged to get all the windows updates on apart from Service Pack 1 which doesn't come up at all??

I went to Microsoft to get the service pack there but there seems to be a whole list of files and it tells you to download the files you need??? Sorry, but I just haven't got a clue what we need and what we don't??

I would be very grateful for any help you may be able to offer.

Many thanks.
Mandy.

Is your operating system the one shown in your specs---Home Premium 64 bit?

Did you see a 903 MB file at that site, the next to last one in the list.

Probably named:

windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842

if you are asking about 32-bit Windows, you need the very last one,

windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe 537.8 MB
