Problems loading some websites Win 7

Hi all just joined in the hope you guys can help me sort my problem.

I recently bought a new PC tower and all been working fine for the past month or so but about a week back it stopped loading some websites such as Yahoo, Paypal and a few others, also my emails are hit and miss, I use incredimail. and also my MSN Messager won't load. Also my Windows update will not work
At first I thought it was a problem with the tower so I sent it back and it was fully checked and confirmed all hardware is fine and no virus found.

My wifes PC that is also hard wired to the router is all working fine and she is running Win XP

Things I have tried.
Ran in Safe mode
Downloaded and ran Super Anti spy wear
Scanned PC with Avast
System Restore
Tried IE and fire fox
And also cleared catcha, history etc and followed a few other things I found on line

I am hard wired to my virgin router.
My PC specs.
Acer Aspire X3450
Win 7 home premium 64bit
AMD Athlon 11 X4 645 quad-core processor
6gb DDR3 memory
2TB HD

I am not that knowledgeable when it comes to these things so please go easy

Problem solved typical, post on here for help then went onto Acer website and updated lan driver and all working fine.

This problem has returned today ???? anyone got any ideas please.
