Hi, this is my first time using a forum so bare with me please.

I used to have Windows XP as my Operating System. Then I changed it to Windows 7 about 2 weeks ago. I used to regularly connect my Laptop to my Plasma TV (Samsung HD 42") to watch movies and other videos using a VGA cable. However since changing my Operating System to Window 7 I am not able to do this. When I connect to my TV using the same method I don't receive any signals.

Has anyone encountered the same problem? Suggestions to my problem are welcome.

Thank You in advance. :D

Plug it in and then auto tune or reset the tv. 7 should detect the plugged in screen. Is this an ATI or Nvidia card?

Hi Abooos,

There may be a compatibility issue between your graphics card and Windows 7. Check with the Windows 7 Compatibility Center and let me know what you find out: Windows 7 Compatibility Center home.
