Problems using windows flip

I have a ATI Radeon 2600 Pro and im having problems using Aero. Iv tryed sereral things but it keeps telling me Mirror drivers dont support Aero effects...
can anyone help? Aero worked just fine in Vista, But not windows 7.... IDK. Please Help

First of all, it is officially supported by Windows 7 on both 32 and 64-bit editions. Have you tried re-running the WEI Assessment?

Also is that an AGP card?
Lastly what drivers are you using? These are the "AGP" drivers for the 2600 series card - Catalyst AGP Hotfix - Radeon HD 4000 Radeon HD 3000 and Radeon HD 2000 Series AGP products

iv tryed several forms but its a PCI-E card and to be honest i dont know what the assement is? but im posting the error...

Mirror Drivers? I'm lost on this one as I don't know what a mirror driver is. I know what Wiki (Mirror driver - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) says but...

I dont have DameWare but i do have a mirror driver for logmein. So i uninstalled it but i cant restart because im currently encrypting my HDs but thank you for all your help ill have to wait for a reboot but hopefully something works, but i do have a dual monitor setup, im using a dell 20" DVI flatscreen, and a 36" Vizio Lcd TV. when i installed 7 it worked and i rebooted and it quit working. so im at a rock and a hard place. i Wish there damn troubleshooter worked right. it would be more helpfull if the damn thing told you how to fix it... but thats MicroSoft for you ya know...

LogMeIn mirror drivers shouldn't interfere with Aero; I use LogMeIn myself and everything works fine. Then again, it varies from setup to setup. Good luck!

It looks like more than just Aero; it looks like the card itself may have some issues if it's not the drivers, because from what I can tell from the screenshot you just posted, fonts aren't displaying correctly either.

Oh ok that looks fine. Why does it say new hardware detected? Did you change anything?

I uninstalled the logmein? other than that i havent done anything... im looking in to it now

I redid the assement and its not there now but i went down to a 4.7 in grafics? this pc is starting to really piss me off

I know this is cutting corners, but why not just upgrade your card?
