Problems with Authentec AES 1610 fingerprint reader

it works fine on boot up, but after my computer goes to sleep and comes back up, i cannot use it to log in anymore... I changed the power settings so windows cannot turn it off to save power, but the problem still exists, any help would be nice... running win7 =P

Hi, I have a similar problem. I upgraded from Vista Ultimate 64-bit to Windows 7.0 (I have an HP Notebook) and the fingerprint reader stopped working. I have tried several posted instructions on HP forum and on the Internet with no success. Can some provide detailed step-by-step instructions on how to get this to work. Thank you for your assistance!
