Problem with control panel. when I click on programs and features explorer crashes. I have tried to up grade to 7068 but when doing so system just stays on last set of upgrade stystem seems not to be frozen. mouse still works and still have hard drive activity. have let this run for 4+ hours still no upgrade is their a log file that i can see to find out what has been done during the up grade? or is their a way to fix control panel.. system has been working fine for 2 months no BSOD and games run great. only issue is control panel and windows media player. wont find music or video's have tried to gopy to diffent folders and set up libary to find them. but no luck.

Upgrades are generally slow. If possible, run a complete uninstall/reinstall.

I see in your information you have build 7k. Possibly, MS did not want beta testers of 7k to upgrade to another build. Just run a repair install with your 7k DVD.
