Solved Problems with Desktop

Well i go on mt computer today and i see a HOMEGROUP icon.

Now i have not put it there no one else put it there.

I wanted to get rid of it but i cannot move it even across the desktop or delete it.

Please tell me how i could get rid of it.

Have you plugged in anything new on your computer, printer ect? Because something on your computer has changed and you can't do the normal things to get rid of it makes me think of bad things. If it was my computer I would scan with my anti virus, which may or may not help because it got through once. I would start off by running Malwarebytes Anti Malware and Super AntiSpyware. Update all and scan. Get back and let us know. If some body put it there is one problem and why it can't be removed ect. is another problem.

I have had this problem since yesterday. I posted it about an hour ago and logged off.

Now when I logged on I read you reply and scanned the computer but while doing that i noticed that the icon has just disappeared 0.0 This is weird

It seems like the problem solved itself

Which program were you scanning with when the thing disappeared?
