Hey guys,
I have been experiencing all kinds of problems staying logged in for Ebay.
Anybody having similar issues with IE8?
I have the 'stay logged in on this PC' checked in the settings.

As soon as I go to check out a listing I am watching and get a few pages away, at some point it will go into guest mode.
I then have to log in again.

It doesn't do it in a repeatable pattern, but it ALWAYS does it...and does it consistently - several times per browsing session.
Needless to say it gets very frustrating....
I left a mssg on the site and a couple people they said they were having problems with the latest beta IE.

Any issues here?

Thanks
Decca

IE8 seems a bit like a cookie monster.. :)
Try fiddling with the privacy settings to accept more cookies.
I have the same problems with Joomla in the backend as administrator.
Have to set my privacy settings to "accept all cookies" to be able to work. (afterwards I reset my settings higher again).
Problem is not consistent tho'

Ebay has A LOT of coding issues, it maybe something on there end. I know for sure that scrolling on eBay's site causes some lag and even typing, on this is on xp and VISTA machines. I would cross reference Ebay/windows 7 issues. I bet you will find it is on Ebay's side.
