Problems with installing LAN driver

Go in to the Bios and see if the Adapter is enabled ...

Yep, it's the Onboard lan right? It's enabled

You are not left with much choice then you could try a Clean Install .... Or you could get a new Adapter ...

I will give a clean install a chance, if I can't get it working I think I'll just leave it, it's a good thing it wasn't my main machine. Thank you for your help!

Most welcome Do you have a Wireless Router if so you could get a USB Wireless Adapter they are very cheap ...
