I'm late to the party, but we have a few hundred devices with that particular wireless card in them and are replacing everyone of them due to connection issues.

yeah yeah i KNow what a Acura is....but you know... anyone that has ever drove an acura and then a honda... will have the same perspective that i have.... *lol*

another thing i can say about the whole wireless thing is that they probaby reached their maxium and they probabley have the server kicking people off to have other people get on.... i am sure your not the only one having issues, your probaby the only one bringing this issue up to us

even if you talk to their tekkies at the school... i wouldn't be surpised if they don't lie to you about the situation.. so there are a number of issues that could be wrong...

I say get you a sprint smartphone *cough* htc touch pro 2, hack it... and then strem the internet off that so your not sharing with anyone on campus

They call it connection threshold, having a tekkie sit there and randomly disconnects you is sad.

One thing you can do,
Find out the ip scheme at the school.
Not to hard.
Dynamically set yourself an ip while your at school
