Hello, first, my english's still some bad, so patience please

Well, it has passed near a year since my computer stopped working due to hard drive problems, then in December i got a new hard drive, but when i tried to boot it started the problems:

When i turn the computer on, the green led that announces it's working it lights and the red one too, but the screen won't start up, the led it's on so it's not electricty or AC adapter problem, and then, seein' that was not starting i tried to disconnect the screen from the energy, and then connect it again, and now the led changes to green, but then the screen seems all glitchy and it doesn't do anything at all

Then, i wanted to discard cpu problem, so i put on another monitor i had and then it does the exact same thing

I hope you can help me, i need my computer working :(

EDIT: My system specs are

Both hard drives are 40GB
2GB RAM
Intel Celeron CPU 2GHz

It could be a graphics card/driver problem!

Do you have the same situation if you boot into Safe Mode?

Not tried yet, the thing it's that if the drive don't boot then the thing to start safe mode can't appear. Should i try to ut the drive in another pc to see if it's working?

Also also, Should I format the drive and install the new OS on it while it's in another pc?

You can format the drive on another PC but don't install the OS there.

Install it on the problem PC. I assume you have the Key for that PC.
