Problems with using the down arrow key

It just started today, but when I use the down arrow key to scroll down on a webpage, it jumps to the very bottom of the site. Then when I click next to anything with text regardless of website, a blinking text cursor shows up as if I am typing. How can I get it back to where I can scroll with the arrow key and get rid of this flashing cursor?

Never mind friends, I was wording my "Google Search" wrong and I found the solution. If anyone else ever has this problem with firefox, click tools, options, advanced tab, then uncheck "Always use cursor keys etc..." under accessibility. Thanks.
