Hello everyone!
I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on my PC and I have a problem. I tried to use logitech webcam c210 on my computer but the software couldn't identify the webcam. The Control Panel identified it and said it's working properly. In Skype it didn't identify it as a webcam but as a microphone. I used Echo ( The Sound Test Service) and the microphone in the webcam worked, the camera did not. Now, everyone might think that the webcam is broken, but I don't think so. I had the same problem with two different cameras as well. Anybody have ideas? :sarc:

(Sorry if my English is bad, I'm from Croatia btw)

Hello Mrcha 4ever, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Did you already install the latest 2.30.1396.0 driver version for the c210 webcam from the Logitech link below?
In addition, you might see if this may be able to help.
Hope this helps,
Shawn

I've already tried both, but it's not working... The software says there is no camera connected to the PC at all. Could this have something to do with Program Files 'cause my little brother once erased some files there??

It depends on what he deleted. If he erased the files from the webcam's software folder in Program Files, then it may.

Does the video for the webcam work other than not in Skype?

Do you also have the latest drivers installed for your video/graphics card/chip?

I'm positive that he didn't delete any of the webcam software files. The video doesn't work in any program I've tried and I've updated all my drivers last week.
