Problems with Windows Live Messenger

Is it possible a firewall is blocking it? Try disabling any anti-virus/firewalls you might have.

You can also try removing the program and reinstalling.

I did that and it's still not sending the mails.

By mails, you don't mean mean emails, but IMs, right?

How long has this been going on? Might a system restore help?

I mean e-mails I don't care about IM's. Just started today.

I would suggest a system restore to get a point before the troubles began.
