Hi I have a Windows program that is installed in the default C:\Program Files (x86) folder, and of course it cannot write some of the data it needs to write to that folder. I assume that is because of the Windows 7 permissions.
Is there a simple way to allow this particular program to write to its install folder despite permission restrictions? I already moved its data folder to my data partition but this is for some files that I do not have the option to move to another folder.
Thank you.

Run the program as administrator. Right click the programs .exe file and click 'Run as Administrator". Then it can do what ever you need it to, despite permissions.
