program expects a certain drive letter.....

I installed a drum loop program and it installed just fine. I insert the cd to use the program and it gives me a dialog box about insert cd into drive d:/ , the problem is my cd rom is actually e:/ it gives me no option to tell it that. Is there a way around this? my main system drive is C:, then my system recovery drive is D:, cd rom is E:

I guess what I am wondering is has anyone ran into this kind of problem?

Just switch D and E. You can do that in Disk Management (right click on the left pane of the device). You will have to give the recovery partition an interim letter - e.g. M.

It is super duper music looper from sony. It was designed for kids to learn about music and looping, but I build drum beats with it and export the .wav out into my Sonar recording program. I think I paid like $29.99 for it. It is the best low cost drum builder I have ever played with. I can change the tempo to match my recording, add fills, and the interface for it is so easy

I got it working, Just needed to actually type the drive letter. I was kinda frustrated cause it listed none in the drop down. It would however allow me to manually type the drive letter. Thanks again!!

If you have a factory installed recovery partition that is lettered as D: it may fail to do what it was designed to do if it's re-lettered.
