Some programs will not delete their folders if they made some data in the folders or in the AppData folder. The theory being you might want to keep the data if you were to install the app again or upgrade or something. Unless there are some ActiveX DLLs in the folders you can usually just delete the folder if you have an account in Administrator group. If not then start a copy of Explorer by right clicking on it and using Run As Administrator.

Some uninstallers set a key in the registry to delete the old folders on the next boot.

Technetic,
Not all programs cleanly uninstall.

RevoUninstaller Pro, with the advanced scan option, does a decent but not perfect job.

Just right-click on the left-over desktop icons and choose delete.
If you find a folder that the program didin't delete, then delete the folder.

As mentioned to you, first reboot, since some uninstallers wait for the next reboot before sweeping out the last of the trash.

If you have trouible deleting, then boot up into safe mode and try to delete from safe mode.

If that doesn't work, the boot from a Win 7 System Repair Disc or from your Win 7 DVD, then go to a command prompt and delete.

If that fails, boot from a PuppyLinux CD and delete the stubborn ones.
