Program Problem - Program won't open - No Error Messages

Ahhh back to the experts. I have a rather unusual, 'never happened before', problem. When I click on one particular shortcut either on the desktop or elsewhere it flashes real quick on the screen but does not open. The program is Webroot Window Washer which is no longer available nor is support. Love it so I want to continue using it. Tried everything, uninstall, firewall, virus protection, but it still occurs. No error messages pop up. It only happens with this program. I'm sure it has happened to others! Thanks

If you google "Webroot Window Washer" there is a changed.

I've downloaded the free version, etc. It does it to any of the Washer versions. Other than what you directed me to, I don't see any changes you are referring to.

Look it's been discontinued since March 2015 so if it stopped working and needs an update to fix issues - well, there will not be any fix/ update.
