Hi All,
I really hope someone can help me here. I have what I believe to be a driver issue.
Every time I boot my PC cold I get a Pink Screen of Death, there is very little showing in event viewer and the only time I managed to get any sort of log during boot was this one:
I am unsure if this is even related to the PSOD or is an entirely different issue but I am trying to give you guys enough info to help me.
My first reaction was that my GFX card was failing as I know the GTX 280 was prone to that particular problem. But I am leaning away from that now for a couple of reasons.
1. This issue was not present until shortly after I upgraded my sound card, this could be a coincidence but it just seems fishy to me.
2. If I boot into my new installation of Ubuntu, it boot's first time, every time without any PSOD whatsoever.
I consider myself pretty PC literate but this problem has me beat. I really don't want to pay for a new GFX card only to discover that is not the problem.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
