PSU danger to hardware?

Hey wanted to ask one thing.
Can any PSU problem couse problems to hardware? exemple if my PSU burns could it burn rest of my PC 2?
Asking becuz im using cheap energon 750w PSU

It depends on how the power supply fails. If it fails in such a way that the voltage outputs exceed their limts, it could damage other hardware in the computer. This includes having the voltages be too low as well.

And also, a PSU is the last component in a PC that you should try to save money on. It's probably the one component in your PC that should be really "high end".
