Put a photo into a Comment box in Excel 2010

I have used Excel 2010 to produce a family history chart - works well; 1400 names so far. I use the Comment facility to add a potted history of each person. I would like to use a similar facility to add photos. That is, place cursor over the name cell: see a photo. Remove cursor: photo disappears. I have tried all the usual file types but none will paste into the comment box. Is there a way to convert a photo that will paste, please?

Hi Tookeri
Thanks for your reply. I have looked at your suggested link, and I can see it would provide what I need, but I'm afraid to say, the code writing baffles me, and as an 80+ PC user, learning from scratch will probably take more time than I can afford!
I guess I need someone to do it for me, at a price, of course!
Thanks anyway.

Have you considered creating a hyperlink in an adjoining cell that will allow you to click on the link and bring up a picture of the person? You could actually use the person's name as the text for the hyperlink. The picture could be on the local disk, a network drive or even on a web page. It may not work just by hovering the mouse over it but it's much easier to implement.
