I am unable to use IE9 as I would really like to becuase of a couple of websites that I have to use each day will not work in IE9.

My question is this. At what point do the programmers come to the conclusion that maybe we should make this work for the latest IE? Is it after RC, RTM or what? This really baffles and ticks me off that the web sites won't work. I always was under the impression that if it works in the version before another it should work in the newer verion. Is there something I can do on my end to make it work? Compatibility Mode does not seem to help at all. The web site will not even load:confused:

Sometimes IE9 is smart enough to detect "bad" (non-standards-conforming) websites. If this is the case, then look at the address bar, there should be a small "broken page" icon to the right. If this icon is WHITE, then you need to click it to enable comatibility mode for that particular site.

Maybe that will help?
