Query re Chrome safety

I went over to Chrome after IE started to becoem more of a handicap than anything else.

Now when I do the occasional scan with SuperAntiSpyware and MBAM I am getting hundreds of "hits" rather than the odd few with SAS and usually none with MBAM using IE11.

So I am wondering if anyone else is finding the same thing happening??

Sorry but I do not currently use Chrome but have done so in the past. Try disabling Third Party cookies:

To disable cookies, you must get to the Google Chrome Settings screen. Click Chrome's menu button (represented by three stacked lines), and then select “Settings.” Click “Show Advanced Settings,” then click the “Content Settings” button under the Privacy section. Under the Cookies section on the Content Settings pop-up box, uncheck [EDIT] check the box next to “Block Third-Party Cookies and Site Data.” Click “Done” to disable third-party cookies in Google Chrome.

Possibly those SAS detections are tracking cookie related.

Thanks Callender I see a lot of the are tracking cookies which I delete most of with CC but I shall get onto the tips here

I've been reading this thread as I'm trying to learn a bit more about Chrome. I'm confused about the statement below where you say to "uncheck the box next to Block Third Party Cookies". Am I misunderstanding this, or should it actually say to check that box?

I'd say tick the box that says "Block Third Party Cookies"
