Lately ive been having lots of issues with my computer freezing, this didnt start happening until about 2 weeks ago when i disabled my screensaver. What i cant figure out is if i leave the computer for a period of time (about 15 min usualy) it just locks up, nothing works except to restart the comp. Another issue i have (sense i first started using 7) is when vuze is running and i have a large download going it will randomly freeze. Can anyone explain why this may be happening?

Specs
1.6ghz
7100 32 bit
768 mb ram (639 usable)
graphics card is something cheap and VERY low ram

Thanks for anyones opinions.

Hello imprtkid.

Try turning off the "Display Welcome Screen..." Setting on the screensaver menu.

Thanks for the quick responce, i already had that unchecked. However being i was already in the screen i checked the power settings, after checking the "advanced" power settings i found that the hard disk was set to power off after 20 min. Im thinking when it trys to do this its just locking everything up. Ill update if it doesnt work.

Again thanks

Why don't you use Utorrent instead? It doesn't hog your resources and even when I'm heavily seeding or downloading, it still uses only about 50 Megabytes of RAM on my 1GB RAM Macbook. By the way, did you try Re-Enabling your screen saver? If that caused the problem, you should be able to stop the problem by re-enabling it.
