Solved question about gpu compatibly with psu

so i'm planing on buying a gtx 560 and there's two versions one is just gtx 560 and the other is the ti version but i got a 500watt supply atm. the 560 version says 450watt minimum so i know i be fine if i get that one but the ti says 500 watt minimum if i buy and install the ti will i have problems or will i be fine. Anyways not planing on buying another psu since the card already cost like $200usd so which should i go with?

You can always use a power calculator.
Keep in mind that the GPU power recommendation doesn't account for all the other
things that people have in their computer or plan to add.
A power calculator will give you a good idea.

Who made the PSU? For example I wouldn't trust a Deer PSU to run a P2 system....a Rosewill will probably be ok, but a Corsair would be much better....

Do not buy anything above a low end card to be used with a generic PSU unless you want to risk damage to both the PSU & the card. They're meant to be used in entry level systems. Please buy a good quality PSU now and not worry about problems down the line. If you wish to take the risk, even the 560Ti will work but it may or may not be stable .. depending on the PSU.

OK thank you well considering i filled this out right says the whole system would take up to 368watts to 418 if i were to install that card considering i filled out the thing right in the power calulator thing which i think i did but some stuff it asked for i was not sure so i just tried my best so by this my guess is it would run on my 500wat psu anyways if you need my specs then here

Did you configure in your fans and the Gtx 560ti as part of the setup?
If so, you should be OK in terms of power.
But as others have said, you always want to have a better, if not high end PSU when using
medium to higher end gaming cards.
Gaming really taxes components.

ye i put the ammount of fans my rig has which is two fans on the side of the case with red led lights and another two that are inside the case and wasnt sure if i was suppose to count the little fan that's on top of the heat sink that's on the mobo but i put it had 4fans

I highly recommend changing the PSU even if it means holding off the GPU for a while. I've lost a 6800GT & a 8800GTS to bad psu's so I can't stress it enough. I recommend Corsair PSU's.

OK thank you I'm going to take your advise and put the graphic card on hold for the moment anyways i hear that they are making a new nvida series which is the gtx 600series might wait for those to come out so by then the 500series will be cheaper anyways thanks for all your guys help i really appreciate it
