All of the tracks in my Windows Media Library have had Volume Levelling applied when they were imported into the library. Some of the Mp3's seemed to go right into the library as they were downloaded. When my library got messed up, every track ended up getting levelled a second time which resulted in a degradation of the sound quality. They just sound downright weird. I am wondering if the volume levelling was also applied to the files that are stored in My Music or did the leveling only occur in the music library? If I delete/empty my library and copy all files from My Music to Documents, will I be able to import unaffected, unlevelled songs back into my library or are all of the songs ruined?
