Question for the admins.. profile customization

Hey guys! I am wanting to customize my profile but am having some trouble figuring out the correct dimensions (background picture, etc)..

if any of the admins see this and would kindly post the dimensions of each option that can accept a background picture I would really, really appreciate it!

Your best option would be ask somebody who has already customized their profile.

You have to make an album, and upload the pics to it, then use those when you're customizing your profile. These are the dimensions that show for uploading pics in one of my albums. Is that what you're asking?

If you go to my profile, you will see the background picture is my name on top of a black and white striped design.. it doesn't fit in the box perfectly though, and through guess and check I can't make it fit perfectly.

Also, in the profile customization, it gives you the option of setting a background image for Block borders, headers, footers, primary and secondary content area. I was wondering if anyone knew the dimensions of each of these areas so I can create a design accordingly to make my profile the way I want it.

Does that clear it up?

I don't think each area has a specific dimension to it. I think it's all based of what size picture you use and where it fits itself in. Don't think you can get that specific to where you want it exactly without fiddling around with the settings and different pics.

The pics won't fit in perfectly. Goes off of these settings here -



And dependent on the size/graphic placement on the pic you use. You just have to fiddle around with those settings/different pics to get it where you want. Hard to explain. For example, if you want 1 picture for your whole background on your profile, it won't span the whole way perfectly fit in there the way you want it, without having to tile it (Both), etc.

That answers my question, from what you've said above, I'll take it as a "No, we do not know what size you should make your background picture so you don't have to tile it."
