Hello,
I am using the Windows 7 backup process that came from Microsoft. I know that there are others and possibly better ones on the market.
When I backup my files weekly, it appears that a WindowsImageBackup folder is also created. Is this a System Image?
When I create a System image, I notice that a WindowsImageBackup folder is also created.
To me, it looks like these are the same files. Is this true?
My intent is to protect myself in the event that my computer's hard drive has to be replaced and I want to recover my system.
Up until recently, I have been backing up my files weekly and periodically creating a system repair disc. I have not been selecting "Create a system image". Am I covered as far as having all application and system files required to recover my system?
Thanks
Stu
