Hello, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post, thread, and question.

I'm aware this question has been asked too many times but how do I get that "Sharing" tab to pop up when I click "Properties?" Or when I try and highlight the "Wireless Network Connection" and the "Local Area Connection" to make a bridge I suppose... That doesn't show up for me either.

I swear I have tried all the things I can think of and I cannot find out how to fix it!

I have my computer, modem, and router out in the living room. I'm in my room with my shitty Madcatz G Wireless Adapter, xbox 360 and this laptop. Since I can't get the adapter to work for me I have been trying to use the ethernet cable from my laptop to my xbox.

All I need is my live hooked up. Thank you ahead of time. :)

Hi and welcome, its best not to use bad language here but ok. So you cannot bridge? Have you tried with a 3rd connection type?

1-sharing tab / properties on what?

2-to bridge right click the wifi icon in system tray go to open network>change adapter settings. Right click the two you want to bridge and click bridge.

3-do you have wifi driver installed and working?

Ken, what exactly do you mean by third connection?

My ethernet is in the back of my xbox and the side of this little laptop.

You could have a bridged connection and a seperate connection

P.S it was me who said that.

The sharing tab that should be next to the general tab when I click on the properties of my "Wireless Network Connection."

Sorry to sound stupid but "the wifi icon in system tray," what is that? Cuz like I've said I've already tried bridging by just highlighting and right clicking, a bridge option does not show up.. :\

What exactly is a wifi driver...? ._.

see pix

A driver is what connects the hardware to the software without one they can never work

Basicly zigzag was showing you how to find your network adapter, if it isn't on there assume you need a driver
