Quick Launch Buttons & All Media Player problems.

I have a HP Dv7-1264nr, and I have updated all my drivers. When I use my quick launch buttons touch volume slide while playing music or watching movies, the sound of whatever I'm listening too messes up and sounds robot like during the few seconds I use the touch volume slide. Also whenever I use the volume slide and have windows media player in full screen, the volume slide use cause the media player to exit out of full screen. Someone out there please tell me what to do so I can fix these annoying issues! I would very much appreciate it.
