I was finally able to install win 7 (A:) but now I only have 367 MB left...but I have unallocated space on other drive...can I use the unallocated space (D: 54 GB) on the volume that Win 7 is on...and how?

We really could use kmore information even a snip of disk manager would help

How big is the drive win 7 is?
Is there another drive (how much free space)

There are a few things that you can do like disable system restore and using custom installation for apps into the other partition. Honestly though, it is probably more trouble than it is worth. You may be better off installing Windows 7 on the 54GB partition. But like the poster stated above, if we have more info, maybe you can free up more disk space on the Windows 7 partition.

I agree with K3VL4R, but if youd like, you could extend the C drive, onto the Unallocated space, giving you 54GB + <insert size of C Drive Here>.

I hope I understood right.
