Solved quickfire cmstorm keyboard not recognized after windows updates

hello again!!

im using on screen keyboard, spelling not the best.

yesterday my keyboard worked fine. before shutting down i installed windows updates. today i turn on and my keyboard only lights up the wasd keys and arrow keys. the fn key that turns the backlight on or off doesnt work, and when i try typing things are not appearing.

i've tried restarting a couple of times... no changes
switching usb ports... even usb 2 and 3.... no changes
dled asus's (my mobo) chipset and usb drives... no changes

plz help!

I'm waiting to chat with newegg atm to get a replacement. I tested it on my husbands desktop and laptop and it still wouldn't work. Same problems happened. Nonetheless, thank you.
