R3dfox New Blocks By Cloudflare?

That is a Cloudflare test page. On one system, I can pass that test with a Win7 x64 box running R3dfox 151, but on another that was Win7 x32 R3dfox ver. 148, it was working fine on several sites protected by Cloudfare for months but only today, it can't pass with v148, even with a new clean profile. I should clarify, all of these r3dfox "installations" are the portable version.

I just put R3dfox 152 32bit on that box, and it does pass that test page. I spent a lot of time playing around with disabling extensions, clearing cache and cookies, pointing a VPN to a different server IP, turning VPN off, and the only common denominator I can find is v148 fails their test but v152 doesn't. At least on that one system.

Next, after I confirmed that R3dfox 152 worked, I shut it down and copied the profile folder from the v148 that didn't work, to overwrite the clean profile (folder) on v152, all prior extensions active, launched v152 with the old profile from v148, and it works still.

Thoughts?

My thoughts are that Cloudflare is becoming too big for their britches and seems a-okay with blocking a large % of the internet as long as their bot-blocking ratios stay high, instead of putting the development time into more intelligent ways of discriminating between bots and people... and no I don't mean those infernal captchas which are already hit or miss whether you feel lucky in guessing right.

It passes for me on 140 esr. Are you saying it does or doesn't work on 148?

Didn't work on 148. I hadn't used that link till my testing yesterday, but I had surfed sites using cloudflare with ver. 148 for months, then yesterday, couldn't anymore, kept getting blocked, then tested on that link, didn't pass, even with a new/clean profile on 148. Switched to ver 152 and it passed.

Does using a new clean profile still leave behind garbage/settings from an old profile? I didn't notice any visual clues nor extensions running to suggest it did. It self populated a new empty profile folder and I even went the extra mile to rename the old profile folder to hide it.

During my investigation I also saw evidence that Cloudflare can have temporary bugs that block certain configs, so I suppose I could've gotten caught up in that, but still it was blocking/failing 148 and immediately switching to 152 to test seconds later, passed.
