Race Driver GRID demo, working?

Has anyone got the Race Driver GRID demo to work? I don't know if they have different versions of the demo, but the demo I downloaded from the Codemaster's web-site runs, let's me create a profile, then the graphics keep changing in and out and a "Loading" logo goes around in circles but the game never actually starts, no hard-drive activity, etc. Anyone?

I've got the actual game and it works flawlessly for me on 7127 x64, using an 8600GT.

Did you try installing under vista or something? I didnt need to do any tweaking : /

I tried it in XP x64, Vista x64 and Windows 7127 x64 with all the same result - the game will load, let me create a profile, but then I try to start the game it sits there rotating the animations across the screen with the "Loading" down at the bottom right of the screen with the circle animation just sitting there, no hard-drive activity, nothing.
