Solved Radeon HD 6850 Problems
I recently bought a new computer with the following specs:
MSI X58A-GD45 Motherboard (no onboard graphics)
Intel i7 960 x4
Radeon HD 6850 Graphics Card
2 TB hardrive
8gb 1333 RAM
When I first started it up, the screen was 640x480 and terrible colors so i assumed that was because drivers weren't installed (but it still seemed worse than normal). I successfully installed windows 7 Home Premium and installed the ATi catalyst center and all the drivers for the graphics card but once I rebooted windows crashes saying a video card problem. I reboot into safe mode and that works but still terrible resolution and low color settings. I check device manger and driver is installed there but it still just isn't working. The colors and resolution are worse than what safe mode should typically be in. Any ideas?

Welcome to Windows Seven Forums.
If as suggested by SolarStarShines, the graphics card has given up the ghost, you need to get it replaced while your computer is still under warranty.
