Solved Radeon Pro Uninstall, no 3D applications will run.

Hello forums,

Was wondering if you can lend me a hand here.

I had installed radeon pro to do a comparison of profiles used with MSI afterburner.
I then played my games and the like without issues for 2-3 months with radeon pro.

Today, I get a message about a communication error, and radeonpro will not launch anymore, I decide to uninstall it and remove all data.

However.. No 3D applications will run now.
Valley/Heaven benchmarks do not launch, skyrim,flight simulator x, minecraft, 3DMark.. pretty much everything that needs work from the GPU will freeze and crash.

I have not been able to find any related issues with radeon pro so I am completely at a loss.

I ran SFC/SCANNOW, but there were no integrity issues

any ideas?

Erick Aguilar, do you have a system restore point you can use? If not I would do a repair install.

I managed to fix it.

Apparently, like drivers, radeonpro will still leave files scattered around the system.
A quick search for radeonpro in my drives brought up folders that were deleted. After restarting the computer everything went back to normal.
