Radeon X1650 problem. please help!

Hello. i have an problem with AGP ati sapphire radeon x1650 pro 256mb.
when i try to install drivers, it only installs the install manager and visual studio.same on windows vista setup. and the biggest problem is,if i play games,the screen will blink every time i do a click. please help me!

Latest Vista driver for that card,

32 bit - ATI Catalyst™ Legacy Display Driver

64 bit - ATI Catalyst™ Legacy Display Driver

Best you're going to get for now as ATI hasn't put out (and likely won't) a Windows 7 driver for that card.

Catalyst installed fine.afterthat i tried to play a game again.screen still blinks.
WDM Integrated Driver installed only install manager which i got from ccc setup.
display driver setup failed. help me pls!
i didn download full suite cause it says on page that its 64 bit.

Actually the 32 bit and 64 bit driver are in the same download (reason why the download is almost 90 MB).

i got now the full pack installed. but if i click on CCC.exe,it loads for a while,and then nothing happens. please help me!

Alo I hate to say it but they aren't officially supported but ATI yet. They do not list it on their website. Have you tried running Windows update to see if there was any kind of prerelease driver? Or checked in the solution center for something?

Personally I would uninstall of the the ATI bundled stuff and start with installing the driver only.

Have you considered it may be the game? What game is it? Do other games flash like this?

It may be a while too because ATI considered this card legacy...

thanks guys. i got that flashing off. it was catalyst control center. now its only lag to fix. on xp its fine,on 7 games lag. not all games.
mostly mmo's with older graphics. like CTRacer global lags.on xp it runned fine. rfactor runs fine.battlefield heroes lag is fixed.well,what may cause that lag? my pc specs are 2x over the recommended of CTracer

For 3d games it is usually the driver. ATI seems slow at updating and getting their drivers working correctly. Over time these will mature and give you better performance.
