Hello to all,

I have Dell workstation T5500 in which two SATA HDDs 500 GB are configured as RAID 1 volume. Configuration is performed during POST (Ctrl+I) with Intel Storage ROM.
In order to test something, I have removed one drive (from SATA1) from this station (which stayed OFF until the drive is returned back) and used this drive in another identical machine just to see if the system will boot and it did. Later, when I returned this HDD back to the first Workstation, I have noticed that now HDD in SATA 0 (which wasn't touched) is reported as Offline member. I tried to replug the SATA connectors but that didn't solve the problem.
Then I removed SATA 1 again and turned ON the computer and it booted normally. So I guess I need somehow to rebuild the RAID but need to pay attention not to lose the data. So I have determined that computer is bootable from both drives.

There is no Intel Rapid software installed in windows, so only configuration is done during POST.

How to approach here in order to make RAID 1 fully functional again?

That's true, but I need a little bit guidance from someone more experienced. I learned by reading different solutions that it is very easy to zero other (correct) HDD by using Intep Rapid Storage during POST
