I can choose between

I'd choose the first option because its better and cheaper, but it says its designed for X79. I'd normally think that it wouldn't matter, but i wanted to confirm.

well x79 supports quad channel memory, as your not intending to use quad channel, just 4 dimms in dual channel id opt for the cheaper ones.

If you can get it from Newegg I would pay the extra $10 for the slightly lower latencies.
