I see you have the Comodo Internet Security installed........quite a few people have had trouble with this application. I see it has a few different services running and if you are installing something, it is probably going crazy trying to make sure it's clean. Just a thought. Also, I see there are multiple Google Chrome instances running.........it is a RAM hog! With only 4gb of RAM, Windows 7, Comodo Internet Security and Google Chrome running, I could see it using up a big chunk of RAM.

Maybe someone more familiar with the Comodo Internet Security application will post and shed more light on the subject. I would guess it's a combination of things, and I bet that is a big factor.

Also, that very first entry, "svchost.exe", is using quite a bit of memory. I don't know exactly what your computer was doing when you took the snippet, but it may be a service that needs to be restarted. Here is an article better explaining the svchost.exe listing and how to determine what exactly it is going on with it......... svchost.exe

Hum KB I have used the Comodo Premium free on a fair number of fixes and never had a problem with it but that is the free version - of course the paid for might be quite different I cannot make out from the image what it actually is.

The Comodo stuff is also quite different from the Comodo of old as it has a few add ons and the usual Geek Buddy which is a PITA and extras that I would not have any use for. Plus I cannot find a way of configuring it as it used to be, and I have not had enough time to fully play around with it yet to find any other way of just letting it auto set itself and the times I have used it - it has needed manual updating.

The usage you will find is not that bad at 152MB RAM and 400MB HDD at the bottom of this

Also a note, svchost.exe may run many instances, I have 17 ATM. It provides the host for running many different Windows processes and services for the User, Network, and system functions.

Well Clauimb if you do why don't you just wipe it first some of the ways are DISKPART and the wipe with Partition Wizard that will erase all remnants for sure.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/52129-disk-clean-clean-all-diskpart-command.html

http://partedmagic.com/doku.php?id=downloads < make a bootable disk and run erase from that

http://partitionwizard.com/partition-manager-server.html?gclid=CIuCy7alpbUCFYQhpQod738A0w < freeware version - disk wipe

then http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/113967-ssd-alignment.html to set it up I do this for all drives but I guess it's personal choice.
