Are you planning to run win 7 43bit? if so it will not recognise more than four.

Sometimes, a BIOS upgrade can affect a board's capabilities. My 1066 FSB board became a 1333 FSB board with a BIOS update.

If you use the Crucial tool (Configurator?) to identify and order the RAM, Crucial guarantees the order.

It may cost you around $10 return shipping to find out. Email Crucial to clarify. Be sure and mention your BIOS version.

hey thanks how do i find out my bios version ? and will it matter if i get my bios update from award or phionx i forgot witch one it is but foxconns website says i have the newest 1

It does matter where you get it. BIOS version is shown during boot - if you have the POST process not hidden by some graphic.

By what mechanism does the website tell you that you have the latest BIOS?

Hi, type in System Information, at the search bar and open it, it will tell you your Bios version.
