Ram voltage

The ram i have is supposed to be 1.65 voltige thing,but in the bios it reads a lower voltage,not at home now so cant see exactly what the voltige is,but i know it is lower than 1.65.Now can i push it up to 1.65 or will that be bad or something for the board?

I guess you're using ASUS Probe for voltages?

For your mobo, I see some memory for 1.5v and the majority for 1.65v. If you memory is supposed to be 1.5v, I'd leave it. I'm not even sure I'd push the voltage up to 1.65 unless you started to get BSODs. Nothing bad would happen to the mobo.

Um...dont know its the asus p6x58d-premium,and the ram is normal ddr3 kingston 1600mhz 2x2gig ram.The voltige on the ram is 1.65,but in the bios it reads lower,so can i change it to 1.65?

and verify what voltage your specific memory is supposed to run at. I'm not worried about your mobo, but it could be problems for your memory.

Nah my ram is on the kingston site and its 1.65v....

If it is not it will probably just bsod before Windows even loads. Then you can go and change it back to what it was. If you damage your ram I am not responsible.
