random 0x000000C4 and sleep/hibernate failure on resume

Hi,

I have had a failure to resume from Sleep/hibernate for a few days now, and while searching for the problem, which I have forgotten the error code, I believe it ends in 00001, my laptop is now giving me the bsod with the error code 0x000000C4

I have uploaded the log file, which I tried to run in the normal environment, but the BSOD kept nailing me, so now it has been run in the safe mode.

Safe mode seems to be running fine, so this leads me to believe it is a driver. I would love to know how to read this log to discover what is causing the problem. Any takers on trying to explain it?

Free up the start-up, nothing except the antivirus is usually needed.

Run the System File Checker that scans the of all protected Windows 7 system files and replaces incorrect corrupted, changed/modified, or damaged versions with the correct versions if possible:

• Click on the rb:
• Type CMD on Search
• Left click and Run as Administrator
• Type SFC /scannow

Sometimes drivers remain, not completely uninstalled. Follow this tutorial for complete removal of drivers of the particular program: How to Clean Left Over Driver Files with Driver Sweeper

You could uninstall the software to see if that stops the BSOD problem.

   Note

Use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall stubborn software. Opt for Advance Mode while uninstalling which allows you to remove leftover registry:-

Thank you for your reply, I have attempted to do as much as I can here.

I have done:
1. Stopped non microsoft startup services.
2. SFC scan
3. Chkdsk /f
4. Tried to update all the drivers below. I am not sure if they are all updated, or not I have had so many blue screens now.
5. I have cleaned the drivers with ddu
6. I have taken a screen shot of my harddisk using CrystalDisk..attached
7. Samsung diagnostics tool that comes with the laptop.


All have come back with no errors, or problems. but 5 mins in normal mode I am faced with the blue screen. I cant even find out what the original problem is with the sleep and hibernate.

Safe mode seems to work ok

There are no new dumps.

Reconfigure the system to collect small memory dumps following the tutorial below.

I have run the DDU (drive cleaner) again, uninstalled many of the new programs that had been installed. Spent a bunch of time removing the default-search.net hijacker. And still the BSOD comes. Although just once, my laptop worked one evening this was after letting samsung install the display driver.

The BSOD sometimes comes before I log in now. And it no longer stands around to have the error code looked at. The laptop just restarts.

I have set up to take minidump files, but I think because the computer restarts, it doest get a chance to make a minilog.

Any ideas?

What surprises me is that the safe mode works fine, so it most of the drivers and services are fine. I am about to load an old image over my primary partition as i expect all hardware to be fine. I am hoping this will be the end of my blue screen troubles.
