Solved Random 109 BSOD errors

After the hard drive came up clean, I reinstalled my sound card and RAM to see if that was the only issue (and because I had changed too many things at once). It ran well for about a day, then BSOD again. I took out the sound card again, used Driver Sweeper to clean up and....BSOD again. I took out the same two sticks of RAM and I've run for around 2 says with no issues, so it looks like it might have been the RAM (even though I didn't get any errors). If I make it through this week with no BSODs, I am going to retest the other RAM, and send it back to Corsair for two new sticks.

Thanks again for the help and I will keep you posted.

Nice troubleshooting steps! Let us know how things go with the RAM and whether you continue to stay stable.

Well, I still need to test the RAM for errors so I can send it back to Corsair, but I re-installed my Soundblaster card and I haven't had any crashes all week...so looks like it was in fact that set of RAM sticks.

Thanks for the help, it's nice to be playing on a stable system again =)
